Bayou Cove Pinellas Park, FL is a brand new development in the area, it will have 22 single family homes, and offers one of the few opportunities in the South/Center of Pinellas County to own a brand new home. Sure, there are open lots that you can build on here and there in Pinellas County, but what is so nice about Bayou Cove is that it is accross the street from the Bayou Club entrance and North of Bayou West, so it is right next door to other nice neighborhoods, and not in between a mix of older homes. The Builder has not released pricing yet, but they pre-advertise that pricing will be in the mid-300′s.

Homes will range from 2,444 sq ft up to 3,500 sq ft, and every single floorplan they are offering boast a 3 car garage! This feature is unusual because the smallest home offers 3 bedrooms and 2.5 baths, so most people would assume a 2 car garage is sufficient. In Florida, where nobody has a basement and all your storage happens in the attic (talk about melting your Christmas decorations!!) or in your garage (and that’s why my car is in the driveway!), a 3 car garage is a beautiful thing. Looking at that, I appreciate the thoughts the Builder must have put into this development, and can’t wait to learn more details.

It has been a long time since the last new neighborhood has opened where you can find an upscale single family home and pick everything to your own taste: colors, flooring, upgrades, you name it. If you want a nice home and shop in the Bayou Club, Bayou West, Bayou Pointe or Bardmoor, you are looking at a “resale” house. Bayou Cove can fill a unique need, people who are looking to build a brand new home, and want to pick their floorplan, colors, counters, etc. have finally (again) the option to do so in the Largo area.

Bayou West in Pinellas Park, FL is a community of 36 homes, ranging from 2,100 sq ft up to 3,600 sq ft. It is located on the East side of Belcher road, between Park Blvd. and Brian Dairy Road. This is a very densely populated area, vibrant, busy, with lots of things to do and easy access to I275 and the Beaches.
A majority of the homes in Bayou West are two-story and around or over 3,000 sq ft, and have impressive two-story foyers. All of the homes have tile roofs and the floorplans are open and bright on all the models that were built, the residents of Bayou West will tell you that they love their homes!
Rottlund Home Builders developed the community, and construction on almost every one of the 36 houses in Bayou West was completed in 2000. For Pinellas County standards, Bayou West is a ‘almost brand new’ community, there aren’t many new homes being build in our area.
One of the things I love most about Bayou West is that it is a cul-de-sac, a single road in, it bends around like a horseshoe, and that’s it. There is no through-traffic, just an occasional spectator coming to check out this neat little pocket of great homes just off of a major traffic artery. With its sidewalks on both sides of the street, children and adults go for a walk “around the circle”, although it really is no circle at all!
Bayou West is as of January 2012 zoned for Cross Bayou Elementary School, Pinellas Park Middle School and Dixie Hollins High School. Besides the “zoned” schools, the Pinellas County school system offers many public fundamental and magnet programs, and there is a wide selection of private schools available as well.

The Bayou Club in Largo, FL is a wonderful place to live in the heart of Pinellas County! It is one of the few gated communities in the area, and the biggest of its kind in Central Pinellas.There are just over 400 single family homes, they are nestled along a Tom Fazio designed championship golf course.
Driving in The Bayou Club gives you a park-like feeling, with the tall trees lining the main street past the gate, the winding roads, the lakes and ponds and open green spaces. Wildlife seems to enjoy this private, gated oasis as well, the mix of nature preserved areas, ponds and golf course terrain has been known to be home not only to river otters, fish and birds, but to a few gators as well!
Going for a walk in The Bayou Club, the pride in ownership the
residents take in their homes is evident. Every house has a beautifully manicured yard and landscaping, during the Holiday Season, many of them are elaborately decorated.
Membership at the Bayou Club Golf Course is completely separate from homeownership in “The Bayou Club”. Naturally, many residents of The Bayou Club enjoy being members at the golf course, but it is not a requirement. The Bayou Club Golf Course offers different levels of membership, from social membership that includes the benefits of enjoying all the amenities at the Clubhouse, like pool and work-out facilities, to full-fledged golf memberships.
