Marcus Gualter, Founder of Team Kiwi

Since arriving in Newport Beach by racing yacht after the America's Cup in 1985, Kiwi started his career in commercial real estate. He was a development specialist with Kaylin Pacific Corporation, a partner in Development Design Source (a real estate development services company) and an independent real estate broker.

During his commercial tenure, he served a wide varienty of commercial real estate clients and developed in excess of 20 million square feet of commercial property ranging from business parks to hotels. Since turning to residential real estate in 1995, Kiwi is able to bring those 10 years of commercial real estate experience and expertise to the residential market to benefit his clients.

Kiwi was honored by a Hall of Fame Award again this year by First Team Estates for sales performance. More important than sales awards, is Kiwi's belief in striving to ensure that each and every client has a great experience, as his letters of appreciation attached will attest.

Marcus' s deep-rooted sense of honesty and fair dealing, which he brings to this real estate transactions and his daily life, is a direct result of his farm upbringing the South Island of New Zealand. Marcus has a home in Newport Coast. Since moving to Newport Coast in 1995, Kiwi has taken an active role in the local community; especially Newport Coast Elementary where his daughter, Shelby, attends school.

Anne Appelroth

Anne Appelroth's attention to detail and her ability to systemize and organize makes her a key member of Team Kiwi. Her excellent customer service with both buyers and sellers comes from her 10-years in the high fashion industry.

Born in Helsinki, Finland, Anne graduated in 1991 from the prestigious Design Institue of Helsinki.

Her fashion design career led her to Southern California to manage women's fashion stores including Max Studio at Fashion Island here in Newport Beach. In 2000, Anne won the Presidents award for the largest increase in sales, best bottom line and most people promoted. This experience enhances her current role with matching buyers to their dream homes and assisting with Open House Presentations. A benefit to our our clients, Anne's interior design ability enables her to stage homes, thereby maximizing it's true potential & value.


Sandra Carlisle

Beginning a career in Residential Sales & Marketing was quite natural after relocating around the country for over a decade. During that time Sandra purchased 7 homes and investment properties from fixers, to rentals & new construction. Although her childhood was spent in West Covina, a suburban city only 45 minutes from Newport Beach, Sandra has lived in Livermore,CA, San Diego,CA, Raleigh,NC, Charlotte, NC, Morrisville, NC, and Ottawa, ON, Canada before returning to Southern California and settling here in Orange County.

Sandra and her son Jacob have been living in Corona del Mar since 2003. She is passionate about being involved in the local community. Most notably is her current involvement as the PFO (Parent Faculty Organization) President of Harbor View School in Corona del Mar, where her son attends, for the 2007/2008 school year and her continuation of that role into the 2008/2009 school year. The PFO's main mission is to keep Music, The Arts and Physical Education available to Primary School Children at Harbor View School.
