About Tego

After having spent 15 years as a sales rep for Communications Products, Tego took the leap into being a full time real estate investor and integral part of the WelcomeHomeABQ.com team. His sales, marketing, and technology background along with his extensive knowledge of Real Estate Investing, gives the team a set of skills and knowledge that is unique in the Real Estate industry.

Tego believes that Real Estate marketing boils down to three primary concepts, Exposure, Location, and Response.

Exposure - Buyers need to find homes for sale and expect factual, accurate detailed information and photos of properties. We use an extensive internet presence to "spread the word" about our listed properties.

Location - Our marketing is focused on internet visibility and offline advertising to bring buyers to our site. We use multiple internet Real Estate listing services including ABQRealtors (Local MLS), Google, Yahoo, Keller Williams, Trula, Zillow, and many others. Recent surveys show that 80% of home shoppers start their search on the net.

Response - When buyers or sellers contact us, we jump into action. We get the information quickly. We understand that this is a customer service business and the best marketing is taking care of our clients in a courteous and professional manner.

We also affectionately refer to Tego as our in-house I.T. guy as he is often called upon to install and fix the computers or peripherals. Tego is of course Tracy's husband and together they make an awesome team working together on what they are passionate about. Tego also spends a great deal of time volunteering at their children's school and is a class favorite to chaperone field trips. Tego loves Albuquerque for it's great hiking and biking trails and excellent year round climate. He is an avid biker rider and enjoys the road bike trails as well as those in the mountains. Also, with world class skiing in day trip distance from Albuquerque, he tries to hit the slopes when he can.

Tracy Venturi

Over the years during other careers, Tracy's friends considered her as the official "unofficial" real estate expert. She and her husband have done extensive home remodeling, sold their own home and rental homes, designed and had built their current home, and been involved with numerous pieces of investment property, flips, land and 1031 exchanges.

Tracy's clients know that she truly thrives on seeking to find exactly they are looking for whether it is their family home, investment property, or land. Tracy finds herself in all parts of the greater Albuquerque area and in addition to home buyers and sellers, handles many deals of just vacant land for sellers, investors and builders.

Tracy has been in New Mexico since moving here for college in 1980 (ENMU). At the time, her Grandmother, Aunts, Uncles, and Cousins were enjoying life in the beautiful high desert of Albuquerque. After college, she worked for a major retailer for 13 years as a Human Resource and Benefits executive. She then joined Intel Corporation as a college recruiter. She found Intel to be a great company to work for with cutting edge, progressive policies and training. Tracy left Intel when her son and daughter came along, as she was fortunate to become a full time Mom.

Before children, Tracy traveled extensively to places such as Taiwan, Malaysia, Singapore, Australia, England, Russia, Chile, Mexico, Italy, Romania... and more recently with the kids, she and Tego try to take at least one International trip a year with visits to Costa Rica and Mexico being favorites. Also before children, Tracy had a regular golf game... and hopes that her children will become avid golfers to enable her to get out on the course more often again.

After 5 years off with her young children, she decided it was time to make her love of real estate a career. What a great move this turned into as her love of real estate has allowed her to become a top Realtor in the Albuquerque and Rio Rancho metropolitan area.

Tracy has lived mainly in Albuquerque's North Valley with time also in the Albuquerque Country Club neighborhood, the Northeast Heights and for the last many years in Corrales. Being from a farm in Minnesota, she appreciates and feels more comfortable near the river and bosque trails. She knows the city well, from the West Mesa to the East Mountains, Rio Rancho and outlying metropolitan areas and would be pleased to assist you in finding your place to call home - the place where you'll feel most comfortable.

Tracy Venturi is EcoBroker Certified®, one of only a few in New Mexico. Because of her interests and clientele, she completed the EcoBroker coursework to help clients with "green" properties, products and builders. She can assist clients in sourcing experts in the areas of home air and water quality, energy efficiency improvements, passive and active solar design, mold and radon detection, and mitigation of environmental issues surrounding the sale, building, or purchase of a home.

Darlene Jones

Transaction Coordinator

Darlene is known for her cheerful nature, as well as for providing the ultimate in service for our clients. She is the team's licensed assistant and is somewhat new to Real Estate after a long career working with the elderly, as a teaching assistant working with special needs children ,and substitute teaching. Through these other careers, she's learned great patience and many skills. Darlene's job as a part of our team is to focus on making sure the behind the scene details of your purchase or sale are handled in a thorough, organized and timely manner.

She is a devoted mother and wife, blessed with two awesome children. Her whole family is very active in school and sports in the Rio Rancho school district, as well as their church. A little known fact about Darlene is that she's also a NASCAR fan...so feel free to talk racing with her.

What is important to Darlene is honesty and integrity in all her dealings. She strives to build lasting relationships through her high attention to detail.
