About Us:

Tim Elder is a Texas native that was raised in San Angelo, Tx when his family relocated in 1963. His youth was filled with extra-curricular activities and organizations centered around school, church and athletics.

As a successful entrepreneur who owned and operated a company which specialized in the construction of custom homes, Tim gained the knowledge and skills neccessary to coordinate complex projects. Upon completion of his real estate education at Texas A & M University of Commerce, Tim began his career with Coldwell Banker Patterson Properties. After establishing his client base, he moved his real estate practice into the offices of ERA Newlin & Vincent Realty. Current hobbies include spending time with his family, traveling and tennis.

I remember emailing Tim long before I was actually able to be in San Angelo, to get an idea of the San Angelo real estate market. Tim as well as two other agents were contacted, but Tim was the only agent to maintain contact with me over the months it took to actually get to San Angelo. I received many emails from Tim about homes. He offered online classes and maintained personal notes through email and when I arrived in town that is why we ended up in Tim's office and not the other agents.

The first time I called Tim when I arrived in town, I needed to drop off the U-Haul trailer and had no idea where to go. He took it upon himself to make the phone call and get me an address and directions to where I needed to go. I felt that went above and beyond his job duties as a real estate agent, but it showed me he cared and was interested in my business. We started our hunt for homes that day. Knowing we had three children tagging along throughout the whole deal, he took very good care of us always making sure we had something for the kids to drink, potty breaks, etc. His concern was not just for finding us a home, but it encompassed our family and our needs as a whole. His knowledge of the area is vast. From questions about the best restaurants to mechanics to hunting areas. We knew we could ask him about anything. We greatly appreciated his services and consider him a friend, not just our real estate agent.

Tim and I had many conversations by phone long distance in order to buy a house here in San Angelo, only to find I did not like it after we arrived.
