Charlotte Communities New Pages- About Charlotte and Luxury Homes in Charlotte
I recently added two major pages to my community blog, Charlotte Communites. I'd like to tell you about them.
Charlotte is one of the least known major cities in America. Our economy is strong, our Case-Shiller home prices are and have been the best in the nation, our community is sound... but many people feel that since we are in the South, the southern sterotype seen on TV may apply... I've never been asked directly, but sometimes I think I hear my potential buyers from the West Coast or the Northeast thinking, we are 1 part Andy of Mayberry and one part Cannonball Run...
Well no. Charlotte is a large modern city in the South. If Atlanta is the capital of the New South, Charlotte is the heart of the New South. See more about it at the link above. Or visit my well-regarded video, - the number 1 hit for the YouTube search Charlotte NC.
This page outlines the many good choices found in luxury home sin Charlotte NC- with directlinks to new pages on Myers Park,Southpark, Lake Norman, Weddington-Waxhaw, The club at Longview, The Sanctuary, and more - all the best ares are here, with photos, text and links to additonal photos.
Thanks for reading

Fort Mill is a popular suburban choice, near by Charlotte NC, and is a town that has grown during the nationwide housing downturn. Fort Mill's many natural gifts- Lake Wylie in the west, the 2300 acre nature preserve that is the Ann Close Greenway, Springfield Golf course, plus its proximitiy to Charlotte, are it's underlying value anchors. Since a major road expansion of I-77 completed in 2006, and the lowering of property taxes in 2007, Fort Mill has boomed. Home values increased in 2007, and the first half of 2008. I wrote a complete report on my Charlotte Communities blog.

of the New SouthConsidering a Move to Charlotte?
You are in good company. People, lots of people, have moved to Charlotte NC in the last 8 years. Since 2000, more than 300,000 (a town about the size of Cincinnati) have come from all over the country, all over the world, for a wide variety of reasons. I've been working with relocating families and singles for more than 5 years, and I've found more than half move here purely by choice.

Welcome to my Charlotte real estate home search site! Click on the (yellow) Matthews House for Matthews Home Search, Matthews luxury homes, townhouses in Matthews, Photos of Matthews and additional Matthews information- and so on for the many popular areas of Charlotte in the map below. Or click on the Southpark Homes, Myers Park homes, Ballantyne Homes Lake Norman Homes, or Ft Mill homes- any of the others. The home search links will search only the specific area, or in some cases part of the area by zip code. If you prefer, the same home search links are in a table below the map. On the Home Search Links, you may map your choices by scrolling to the bottom of the page and click on the left "Map Properties". You may review the summaries, compare areas, and if you are here for the first time and you request listing details, after a bit the system requests an email. No worries, you get logins and no one will bother you here. Nada. It is safe. We will be adding more and more Charlotte features to the map. The green picnic tables are major parks, jets are airports, golf guys are golf courses (there are more, send in your link), school houses are Colleges/University's. So give it a test drive, go ahead and explore Charlotte! Don't see the map, try this link.
View Larger Map The links in the table are captured directly from the map above. We are working on more advanced map mashups as we speak. Each link's to a specific search, photo album, and community information from CCOnline. The first line is for a total wide area search and you can search any listing type from this window. So, go ahead and give it a test drive. I think you'll find this map or table the most complete home search, community search and community information guide on the Internet for Charlotte NC. On the Home Search Links, you may map your choices by scrolling to the bottom of the page and click on the left "Map Properties".
The map and features are growing! Do you have a Community Link you'd like to see on our map? E-mail it to me please with a note on why you think it should be here. We'll be adding layers including New homes, major employers etc. We will also be adding Home Searches as time permits and interest develops in new areas. We will also be populating the map with photos as my new I-phone has GIS build right into the pictures- very cool. Back to the business at hand. --------------------------------------- It is a strong buyers market here in the greater Charlotte area, Lake Wylie, Lake Norman, the whole area for new homes and re-sales. We work with Buyers and Sellers every day. You can quickly compare area prices with the links provided, or just give me, Terry, a call at 704-351-1519.
