1st time Blogger- Wow, have things changed!

Anyone and everyone who knows me, or even those who have even met me once, knows very well that I can talk. A gift or a curse... the answer to that has yet to come in. But, Blogging? What is that? Now, realize that I was not born yesterday... in fact, this very month, I will have been on this earth for 40 years. I get that it stands for web logging. I have an E-pro certification and fully understand, and believe in, the idea of online communities. However, never in a million years would I have thought that Blogging would eventually wind up on my "Top ten things to do before I turn 40" list, but guess what, it has! So, here I am! And, I owe it all to my new company, Real Living Partners Triangle, that is ever so slightly nudging me, just so, into the new world of technology. One of my coworkers the other day stated that Blogging is just talking, but in written form. Our newest office is being built, as we speak, on Vandora Springs Rd in Garner, NC. We expect to open in the next few weeks. Stop by and check us out. Maybe we can help you reach your potental, too. What's on your list?

I have held a real estate license since 1998. I took my state exam, like many of you, with pencil and paper. Remember the long two week wait for the big envelope or the little envelope? (The big one held your actual license, saying you passed. The small one, the "Try again another time!" letter.) Today, they evidently take it on a computer and know right away, one way or another. Wow, have times changed! I also recently purchased my first laptop. Although it took a little getting used to with the slightly more compact keys, it was not so different from a regular computer. I can not wait to write... err, make that type, my first contract on Fast Froms. Although I think of myself as a great Realtor, my handwriting is horrible. Maybe this technology thing isn't so bad afterall!

I'd like to hear from the rest of you as to how Blogging has helped you in your real estate career! In the meantime, I'm going to attack the next thing on my list.... texting! If I keep this up, I might actually catch up to my middle schooler!!!!
