About Me:

The Connecticut Shoreline has been a part of my life from the very start. Being born in Branford and spending summers coming to Madison to visit summering relatives and highschool years enjoying Hammonassett Beach, when Helen and I married we decided to live on the shoreline. First in Branford, then Guilford for several years and finally in Madison for the past 14 years.

When I decided to change careers after 27 years of corporate sales life the choice seemed obvious, do what you enjoy doing in a place that you love. So I joined Coldwell Banker in Madison. My career took me many places in several companies always climbing a rung higher. Since 1999 I led an outstanding team of sales professionals as Sales Vice President for AT&T in New England. My team successfully finished 2004 and 2005 as the top sales team in AT&T, navigating a difficult market and industry. This experience has given me an invaluable set of skills that assists buyers and sellers.

• Negotiation skills - over the years I have negotiated well over $1Billion in contracts, I understand the negotiation process.
• Management Skills - the selling and buying process is far more complex than people tend to realize, having run a $250M/yr business and being the top Sales VP in AT&T I have the managment skills to help clients navagate the process.
• Listening skills - I believe we were given 2 ears and 1 mouth for a reason, and try to use them in that proportion. I need to understand what a client is looking for before I start to help.
• Understanding - I know this is a complex, emotional process (either buying or selling) and understand that your wants and needs may change along the way.

I have been blessed to live in this area for my entire life, it is truely a wonderful area. I am also 3rd generation New Haven County so have a wide range of experience from Milford to Wallingford, Woodbridge to Old Saybrook. Our five children have given us the opportunity to explore many venues in the area.

As a life long Connecticut resident with Corportate experience and a Father of 5, I bring a diverse set of experiences to the table. A key skill that differentiates me from most fellow Realtors is a complete understanding of technology and how to integrate it into the marketing plan for every property.

Having managed a team of over 100 people and a $250M/yr business with well over 1,000 clients I have the skills to smooth things over when there are bumps in the road and the management dicipline to make sure the activities that need to get done to complete a purchase are completed. Many people think the deal is sealed on offer acceptance, I know it is not done until the closing is compete.

Compassion and empathy. My wife and I have bought, sold and moved several time (each time with one more kid in tow) and I know it is an emotional process. You are dealing with many issues beyond negotiating the offer and navagating the process. I am here to help.
