About Me:

Former teacher turned Realtor. Have you heard that some of the best Realtors are former teachers? Well, I'd like to prove this statement true.

I graduated from SCSU in 1992 with a degree in Elementary Education and a coaching licensure. I taught elementary school and coached volleyball for 5 years. I spent the next 5 years in sales/marketing positions, and then 2 years as Director of Education at Sylvan Learning Center in Minnetonka. Throughout these experiences, I realized that I love working with people, I love learning, and I love helping and teaching others.

In 2004, I moved back to the Rochester area to be closer to family and friends. It was at that point that I wanted to learn as much as I could about real estate and to help others with their real estate needs.

Because I enjoy volunteering in the community and organizing events, I sponsor a neighborhood website for the Diamond Ridge Neighborhood in NW Rochester: www.diamondridgeliving.com. Once a year I sponsor a neighborhood garage sale (May) and National Night Out Picnic (August). This has been great for meeting new people and for my growing business.

In my free time, you can usually find me spending time with my friends and family (I have 6 younger sisters, 4 brother-n-laws, 3 nephews, and 2 nieces), or working on my home/yard. I love home improvement projects and shows.

I will attend meetings with your lender, the inspection, the closing, etc. I will be there to give a variety of tips and suggestions on the home buying process, negotiation tips for getting an offer accepted, and more. I will absolutely tell you the good, the bad and the ugly about each property you view so that you make an educated decision on the home that you purchase. I want you to be informed and aware of the maintenance, upcoming costs, and pertinent information on such an important purchase.
