There are currently seven (7) homes FOR SALE in this subdivision of Silver Spring , Md. 20906. These homes range in size from two-bedroom single level dwellings to three- and four- bedroom townhouses. There is only one (1) home currently under contract and one (1) that has gone to the closing table in the month of May.

In the two-bedroom set there is only one (1) home that is currently on the market listed for $165,000, and it has been on the market for near three months. The one home in the community that is under contract is a two-bedroom home that was last listed for $179,000 and was on the market with the current realtor for just over 5 months (153 days). The one in the community that sold during the month was also a two-bedroom home that was originally listed for $214,000, last listed for $208,000, and sold for $200,000 with a seller subsidy of another $12,000. Montgomery County Maryland Parks Update

Several weeks back I talked about the contest to find the teen Park spokesperson (Park Star Search). Well the process starts soon, with auditions on March 29 and again on April 5. So re - read the post, get out and try out, or learn how to participate in the selection process.

I also recently told you about the parks program to plant a tree and how to registering for a summer camp programs.

Well today is about the summer intern program to be offered by the Parks and Planning Department for College students. They will be conducting interview for position in Mid April and announcing the selection by Mid May. If know of student interested in regional or community planning, architecture, landscape architecture or urban design, urban studies or geography, environmental planning or science, historic preservation, or a slew of other related fields have them check out this opportunity to learn and get paid too.
