Montgomery Chase Subdivision Silver Spring Md 20906

Montgomery Chase Subdivison signMontgomery Chase is a gated townhouse community on north bound side of Georgia Ave in Silver Spring Md. 20906; just north of the intersection of Georgia and Connecticut Avenues. These piggy back townhouses are combination of 2 and 3 bedroom homes, originally built in 1983; but converted to a condominium community in 2005. The homes range in size from just above 1200 sq ft of living space to just over 1700 sq. ft.

The community amenities include a Tot Lot and a Community/Recreation Center with an outdoor swimming pool and Hot Tub. The month HOA fee also covers Snow and Trash removal as well as the maintenance of the amenities. There is also the MNCPPC park North Gate Park just a short walk from the front of the community.

Montgomery County Ride-On Bus route #26 comes along Connecticut Ave., a short walk from the southern edge of this community giving the community easy access to the Glenmont and Twinbrook METRO stations, the two legs of the Redline. Another Montgomery County Ride-On Bus route #41 also comes along Connecticut Ave, and give you access more direct access to the Glenmont METRO station.

There are also several WMATA bus Routes Y5,Y7,Y8,Y9 which travel in front of the community along Georgia Ave. that can take you to the Glenmont Subway station and downtown Silver Spring.

A Feb 10, 2008 check of the Montgomery County Public School Locator reveals that the Elementary Schools that handle the community is Bel Pre ES (PK to 2) and Strathmore ES (3-5), the middle school for the community is Argyle MS, and the high school for the area is Kennedy HS.
