The Keenan Carter Group has been servicing the CentralCoast for 10yrs. It was started by Dick Keenan and Narlene Carter Keenan in 2001.

A little bit about the two founders; Dick Keenan is a native of the CentralCoast. After graduating from Cal Poly SLO with a BS degree in Agriculture Business Management, he began his real estate career in 1982 as an appraiser. The 3 years there provided him with valuable knowledge of a wide variety of property types, including single family residential, income property, raw land, and commercial real estate. He has specialized in residential properties since 1985. Dick Keenan is a member of a number of professional and business organizations. They include: the PismoCoast and Santa Maria Association of Realtors® for which he’s been a member of the Board of Directors, the California Association of Realtors®, the National Association of Realtors®, the Pismo Beach Chamber of Commerce, and Grover Beach Rotary. Dick Keenan is also a private pilot, an avid golfer, and devoted husband & family man.

Narlene Carter-Keenan has been a full-time licensed realtor since 1987. She has increasingly successful real estate sales experience, in both new and existing residences. Narlene Carter Keenan has represented tract and condominium developers, as well as upscale custom home developers and estate owners here on the CentralCoast. She has worked with buyers ranging from first-time purchasers, where her experience in lending transactions has been especially helpful, to experienced real estate investors. The winner of a number of individual sales and professional achievement awards, Narlene Carter Keenan is also a member of a number of professional and business organizations. They include: the Pismo Coast Association of Realtors, CAR, NAR, Grover Beach Chamber of Commerce, and the Five Cities Women’s Network Group. As well as being an ambassador and on the board of the Pismo Beach Chamber of Commerce, and this year she was elected President of the Grover Beach Rotary. Narlene was also a competitive women's soccer player, which has contributed to her sense of dedication and commitment in business. Narlene is married with 2 children, and co-founded The Keenan-Carter Group.

Dick Keenan and his wife, Narlene Carter Keenan, began the Keenan Carter Group upon joining Keller Williams Realty. The Keenan Carter Group is a leader in he use of high-tech tools to market properties, and increases a property’s visibility with emphasis on the Internet. High-tech and other proven techniques have made the group one of the most successful real estate operations on the CentralCoast. Also, after joining KellerWilliamsRealtyCentralCoast in PismoBeach, Dick and Narlene opened KellerWilliamsRealtyCoastalValley in Santa Maria

in 2004, where Dick is currently the Broker & Operating Principal.

In the late fall of 2007, the group began conducting foreclosure tou

rs in San Luis Obispo and northern Santa Barbara Counties.One result of the “foreclosure tours” has been widespread media coverage, which increases knowledge of our area and The Keenan Carter Group. Good Morning America (ABC-TV) covered and featured the fourth tour, and Dick was interviewed live, via satellite hookup, on Neal Cavuto’s program on Fox News. Nightline and News Hour (PBS with Jim Lehrer) are among others with an interest in covering the seminars. In June of this year, Dick and Narlene were featured in CAR Magazine.
