Is Real Estate a Good Investment?
when approached correctly, real estate can be an incredible investment, but it can’t be approached haphazardly. It’s an investment like any other.
Some people have made quite a bit of easy money in real estate during market booms, others ..no so much.
Some things to consider when looking at Real Estate as an investment
Investments are rated by three main criteria
Liquidity
(can you get your cash out easity)
Safety
(how easy it is to lose your cash)
Rate of Return
(what will you make off your cash, as compared to putting it into the bank)
You won't find all three in any one investment. Investments that might offer a high rate of return, are usually low in safety! While very safe investments will not be liquid and have a lower rate of return.
Leverage
using money generated from someone other then you in order to start a business or acquire an asset. There is no investment where the application of this tool is more powerful than in real estate.
