Another week has gone by and I was researching for the best real estate buys in Eagle, Idaho today and I found several to choose from.

When looking to Eagle, Idaho one must first look to the downtown sector. It is a small, quaint group of small businesses and the senior center.

It extends to the library and the post office to the east and more restuarants and offices to the west.

Whether you go to the Italian Restaurant, Davinci's in the downtown section on State Street or Bella Aquila off eagle Road by the river, we have it covered in upscale or relaxed atmosphere.

The Eagle City Council has made some great moves to make Eagle a viable community by tightening the belt where needed and yet still providing growing services.

The real estate market in Eagle has been increasing in value slightly due to supply and demand pressures.

Eagle has always been a place sought out by people who search this area via the Internet and we show many homes each year in Eagle. There is a new Fred Meyer which will be built on land that was brought into the Eagle City limits this last year at the corner of Linder Rd. and Chinden Blvd. according to the State of the City of eagle report posted on the city's website, http://www.cityofeagle.org.

Every week I try to go through the multiple listing service (MLS) database and look for the best real estate buys in Meridian, Idaho.

Many people know where Boise, Idaho is, but many from outside our state are not aware of Meridian, Idaho. If you are in Boise, Idaho and you drive due west you often can't tell when you cross over into Meridian.

In the 1970's there was a gap of several miles between to the two communities, but both cities have grown where they are touching at most areas. Meridian was probably more agricultural than Boise in the early years, but then Meridian became a bedroom community for Boise.

Most of the jobs were in Boise, but over time and with the growth of Meridian many companies have decided to locate their firms within the Meridian City limits.

Meridian, Idaho has been mentioned in Forbes Magazine in 2005, 2006, and 2007 as "Best Places for Business and Careers".

Inc. Magazine mentioned Meridian, Idaho as one of the "Top U.S. Cities for Doing Business". Newsweek Magazine featured Meridian in 2005 and again in 2007 as "America's 100 Best Cities for Young People". Money Magazine in 2005 featured Meridian as "Top 75 Best Places to Live". Farmer's Insurance cited Meridian in 2006 as the "#1 Most Secure U.S. Places to Live".

They can't all be wrong. with fast growing subdivisions and new stores, including Fred Meyer and Wal-Mart being built nearby, and roads being widened and parks being built, this community is the place to find the best real estate buys in Meridian, Idaho.

Every week I try to go into the multiple listing service and identify the best real estate buys in Boise, Idaho. I think that buying a home with a least three (3) bedrooms and two (2) baths and at least 1,200 square feet and at least a two-car garage is better as a rental as well as a home for purchase for homeownership. It also is more attractive for a future sale.

Although one of the more recognized landmarks in Boise, The Depot which started as a train depot and is now mostly used for special functions like weddings and small orchestra and other concerts.

It serves as a backdrop for photos almost every day. Engagement photos, wedding photos, graduation from school, senior photos for high school, etc.

Boise is a great community with two regional hospital systems, St. Lukes and St. Alphonsus as well as the capital of a vibrant state.

We have Boise State University, a research facility of much distinction. We have both great athletic endeavors as well as good education on several levels including the PhD programs in several areas of study.

Now is the best time to buy a home! Interest rates are near their historical lows and home prices are as they were in 1999.

Our market has had an adjustment over the last four years and now seems to have been stable so now is the time to buy before we see interest rates increase and erase all the possible savings by having prices lower.
