Costa Mesa Home Inspections

The houses in Costa Mesa are akin to what is commonly believed about snowflakes “no two are alike.” There are many different “neighborhoods” and myriad home styles to go along with these different neighborhoods. I struggle to think how many homes in Costa Mesa can actually be considered in their original condition. There cannot be many, that is for sure.

With all of these different home styles and different phases of renovation, from the most basic bathroom upgrade to the full-fledged tear down, it is important to get a qualified home inspection done to help you determine the age of some of these alterations and the execution them. The beauty of homes in Costa Mesa is that a good number of them have crawl spaces under the house and this is where a lot of information will be revealed. Other tell-tale signs of workmanship turn up on the roof, in the electrical panel, the attic, and any of the visible portions of the plumbing and heating system. The quality of the workmanship gives an idea of the whole picture; were the tradesmen professionals who paid attention to detail and have pride in their work, or was it just another paycheck. With an experienced and tenured home inspector who has a lot of work experience with older homes, this determination can be made.

Home inspectors see things very differently than you and I. They are able to look at the aggregate and come up with an assessment of the whole. They are not swayed by how nice the crown molding is or how cute the tile is in the kid’s bathroom. They see the how bad the compound miter is and the fact that the tiles are meant for the wall and not the floor. It is the little things that give away the truth of the home and no amount of wall paper, paint or floor coverings can hide this.

And do not forget to go to city hall and view all of the permits that were issued for the alterations.

Luxury Short Sales in Mesa Del Mar

Do you currently own one of the short sales in Mesa Del Mar?

Composed of eight-hundred homes developed in the 1960's, Mesa Del Mar sits behind the Orange County Fair Grounds and is near the beach. A very quiet community, Mesa Del Mar is somewhere that I am very familiar with and one can occasionally spot me at either the Mesa North Starbucks or every two weeks at the 5 Car Wash. My familiarity and understanding of the area will make working with Short Sales in Mesa Del Mar that much easier.

Before I get started with the Short Sales in Mesa Del Mar process, I want to cover a couple thing. Do you feel that you're stuck with your only option being Short Sales? You may have other options. For example, you can always take a stab at getting a loan modification for your home instead of doing Short Sales in Mesa Del Mar. If you're interested in different options and what you might be approved for, let's talk and I will point you in the right direction.Luxury Short Sales in Mesa Del Mar

With Short Sales in Mesa Del Mar, if the bank accepts the short sale proposition and the lender is willing to accept less for the home than what is owed, your home will be listed, offers will be directed to the lender, and from there the lender will either approve, counter, or reject the offer. The down side to this is that this process may take over 3 months to complete. As a Short Sales Specialist I will do everything in my power to speed up the process. Short Sales in Mesa Del Mar can be frustrating and stressful, but with my help we will bring the stress down to a minimum.

Orange County Fairgrounds Farmer's Market Costa Mesa

I love me a farmers market! And the Orange County Fairgrounds Farmer's Market Costa Mesa is no exception; local growers selling their fresh picked wares. I mean, what is not to like?

Not only are there farmers selling their produce, but there are vendors selling fresh juice's made from their fruits and veggies along with local artisans and bakers. And what sets these folks apart from others (ie grocery stores ) is the passion that they have for their products. Take for instance Roman, the local grower who prides himself on his heirloom tomatoes. Do not even get this guy started talking about hydroponics. And I mean it. Unless of course you are passionate about growing plants sans soil, then by all means seek this man out and pick his brain. The point I am making is that at Orange County Fairgrounds Farmers market Costa Mesa you can interact with the person who churned out the product that you are about to buy and what you end up getting, as an added benefit, is the fervor that they put into their goods. I think you can tast that.

There is also an old timey vibe to strolling down the lanes of the vendor's stalls taking in the sight of fresh fruits and veggies. There is this, what I call, the Costco Effect that takes place when I gaze upon the abundance of produce piled high and neat, I end up buying more than I actually need. And there is nothing old timey about that knee jerk reaction. But, the good news is that I over dose on fruits and veggies and there is nothing wrong with that!

So, get up early next Thursday and mosey down to the Orange County Fairgrounds Farmers Market Costa Mesa and get yourself an abundance of produce that you just may not need. Then (heck) take the extras over to your neighbors and spread the wealth old timey style!
