Seems like just yesterday I began watching Frisco's population climb. Actually, it was in 2003 and at that time they predicted we would break the 100,000 mark by 2010!!! Wow, not only was that number surpassed in May 2008, but each month we are adding a significant number of residents.

This is despite the world-wide economic downturn. Frisco isn't immune, but our growth is continuing at a smart and steady pace. We've welcomed new businesses like Main Event, had groundbreaking ceremonies for Kroger Market Center, & watched our residential neighborhoods thrive.

Tax credit of $8,000 available right now! Can be used against 2008 tax return!

The law allows taxpayers to choose ("elect") to treat qualified home purchases in 2009 as if the purchase occurred on December 31, 2008. Taxpayers buying a home who wish to claim it on their 2008 tax return, but who have already submitted their 2008 return to the IRS, may file an amended 2008 return claiming the tax credit. A tax professional should be contacted to determine how to arrange this. Also, if homebuyers made a 2009 home purchase and already filed for the $7500 credit they will be able to file an amended 2008 tax return. Homebuyers in this situation may file an amended 2008 tax return with a 1040X form. A a tax advisor should be contacted to ensure this is filed properly.

The town of Little Elm Texas is a growing residential community of homes with a great variety of pricing and home styles. Little Elm is conveniently located in Denton County and on the Northwest Corner of Frisco Texas and along the shores of Lake Lewisville. If you haven't heard of Little Elm yet, you will due to the future Lake Lewisville bridge.

Current prices in the Little Elm for single family homes range from a low of $109,900 for a 4 bedroom 2 bath, 1515 square feet, to a high price of $1,400,000 for 6 bedrooms 7 baths at 10,000+ square feet with a lakeview lot.

  • 1053 re-sale homes currently for sale in the $100,000 to $750,000 price range.
  • 58 homes received contracts and are listed as pending.
