Please Vote for one of My Fullerton Clients in the California Friendly Garden Contest
UPDATED May 20th. Now in the Final Top 10
The front yard of Margaret Lawson's "Casita", in Fullerton California has been entered into the Roger's Garden California Friendly Garden Contest. The garden is based on California native plants that are water efficient and hopefully the design has curb appeal attractiveness. Eight of the ten semi-finalist will be selected by email votes between May 1 - 15. If you are so inclined, I would love for you and your friends to log on and vote for "Lawson Fullerton" before May 15th. The judges will visit the ten semifinalists on May 22 and make the award announcements on June 11. I know if she would have entered the back yard which is amazing, she would win for sure! Thank you for your support and wish Margaret Lawson luck.
Note: To avoid "stuffing the ballot box", after voting you will be asked to enter your email address to receive a voting code then you will need to follow the instructions to actually cast your vote. Hopefully not as much of a hassle as it sounds - but voting is a two step process.

This Morning, May 5, 2009, I halted the grinding of my coffee to listen to some actually positive news! The
Chairman of the Federal Reserve, Mr. Ben Bernanke proclaiming that "We have all the tools we need to get this economy back on a growth track". Music to my ears! I grabbed the remote and began the news feed from the beginning and listened more attentively this time.
Bernanke also commented on the housing market by saying that "home prices may stop falling in some areas" and that "interest rate will begin to climb". Hearing this I was inspired to look at the New York Times today to see that they were also spreading the positive news that "Home Sales rose in March instead of Falling!!!
Personally I have been seeing a clear turn in my local real estate market. I was out showing property this past weekend in Ameriage Heights in West Fullerton. Last summer I drove through this community and there was an abundance of "for sale" and "open house" signs at every corner. Now I only saw 3 homes being held open and very few "for sale" signs. More surprising was several "SOLD SIGNS"!
If you are on the fence about buying a home or selling your home call your local REALTOR today to find the current market condition in your area.
