Yes, it's that time of year again! The Mount Dora Arts Festival will be in full swing February 5th and 6th this year.

More than 300,000 people fill the streets of downtown Mount Dora for this extremely popular two-day art festival, which is ranked among the top 20 events in the Southeast by the Southeast Tourism Society.

These Artists provide the quaint, historic downtown streets with a colorful array of fine art!

The 2011 Mount Dora Arts Festival will take place from 10 AM to 5 PM on Saturday and Sunday.

There will be more than 250 artists who will be displaying whatever it is you are looking for and more. (Photography, acrylics, clay, glass, jewelry, sculpture and more.)

There will be live entertainment and stop at the nearest corner to try a luscious, refreshing lemonade and a fried corn and mozzarella cake.

Don't forget to browse all the wonderful little shops that Mount Dora has to offer year round. There is so much charm in this little town, you will want to come again and again.

Just thought I would amuse myself and check out the ratios of foreclosed, short sale and normal listings in Lake County, Florida. The county with over 1200 names lakes.....geesh, where are all the people living!

Anyway...here is what I found. There are 321 foreclosed properties for sale, 761 short sale properties and 2,922 properties that fall into the category I like to call "normal."

The day is almost here! I am really excited and can't wait......

It must have been my lucky day when I ran into one of the Plaza Cadillac salesmen in a local Men's Clothing store. Just stopped by to visit my friend Jay and this guy did the same. When I asked him where he worked and he said Plaza Cadillac, I was like "Yeah, that's where my New Crossover is at!" It was at that point he said "Well, today is your lucky day" and I thought, Oh noooo....can't go there, once I test drive something, I will have to have it. Can't really hide that purchase in my closet among the clothes for my husband not to see, lol. He told me they are doing this promotion for ladies only....sorry guys, maybe next time. The idea is to drive the car for a whole day, bring it back and tell others what you thought. No strings attached. Sounds good to me!!!

So, now I'm counting down the days until Friday at 9am! I didn't tell these guys that I'm a Realtor, lol....I am going to be all over the county, visiting, shopping, eating, and cruising. My kids are pretty excited too...well they were more excited when they thought I was going to be picking them up at school, but, since it's Spring Break, I'll just have to run them all over so their friends can see what we're cruising the town in.

I have had a smaller type SUV in the past which I liked, but, then I bought my convertible, which I absolutely love....except the times the kids decide they actually want to go somewhere with me, which isn't very often, and they fight over who is going to climb in the back. The sitting lower and heavier doors are working on me, so I am definately looking forward to driving the Crossover and sitting up a little higher.

This is a great way to test out a car before you make the decision to buy. The normal 5 minute ride around the block is not enough to really get the feel for the car. A whole day? Yeah, I can handle that....I'm pretty sure my husband will make sure I have no credit cards, checkbooks or cash anywhere near me when I have to return from my adventurous day of cruising, however, I will have to remind him....that my birthday is coming up, May 9th and that would be an awesome present. :)

So, now I have to get my friends, family and anyone else I can pursuade, to come to this site and vote for me so I can win $250 to give to a charity....I had better get busy. I will post pictures and all about my adventurous day soon.....very soon! Keep a look out for me on Friday and honk....I wonder what color I will get.....and how about a sunroof? Soooo much to look forward to.
