Many people pass by this school on Great Neck Road each and every day but don't realize that big blue and yellow building is home to one of the best daycare/preschool programs in Virginia Beach!

WAVE CLC is a state licensed facility embracing Judeo-Christian principles and values. WAVE CLC began in 2004 and has enrollment capacity of 200. They provide programs for children 3 months to 11 years old from the hours of 7am-6:30pm. The office hours are from 9am-5pm.

OUR STAFF :: All staff participate in continuous training for professional advancement and meet licensing standards and requirements set forth by social services. Staff enjoy working with children, they are CPR trained and certified, and background checked. Many staff hold degrees or certifications in the field of Early Childhood Education.
The program's children will enjoy special events throughout the week and school year, they include our WAVE Rally, music class for all children, presentations from special guests, field trips, parades, drama, nature walks, introductions to sign language and Spanish. Computer class (Mouse Kids), dance and karate are available at an additional cost.
There are two unique options for preschoolers ages 3-6: A quality learning environment in both the Instructional Daycare (IDC) programs and the Montessori preschool.

This morning before preschool, my son came running in the house, "Mommy! There's a strawberry on the strawberry plant! Can I eat it - PLEASE??????" Sure enough - out first fruit of the season was ready for harvest. Looks like it's strawberry season and well, those of us in Hampton Roads know what that means!
25TH ANNUAL PUNGO STRAWBERRY FESTIVAL
May 24th and 25th, 2008
Along with beautiful beaches, Virginia Beach has miles and miles of beautiful farmland. We call this area Pungo and every year the Pungo Strawberry Festival is held on Memorial Day weekend. This year we are estimating attendance of 120,000 over the two day event. Not only does the Festival have all the strawberries you can eat offered in over 50 different ways, activities include a pie eating contest, strawberry bake-off, continuous entertainment on three stages, a parade, one of the largest carnivals on the east coast, livestock show and sale, a multi-million dollar military display, pig races, youth art show, and arts and craft booths.
This Festival has grown from nearly 50,000 in 1983 to its present size of over 120,000. The Festival is a 501 3 ©) non-profit organization and prides itself on its ability to give to the community. All proceeds from our Festival are donated to non-profit community and service organizations. We are proud to have returned over $500,000 to the community thus far and this does not include money raised by community groups on site.

My area of "expertise" is selling homes that are difficult to sell. Sometimes, all it takes is a price adjustment, furniture placement or a coat of paint. Other times, it takes a whole new marketing strategy, extensive networking or market repositioning to get a property sold.
My goal with buyers is to build their wealth and real estate portfolio, not to ensure their couch fits perfectly in their living room. I look at a house as a small business which is there to provide an immediate need, (shelter) but also to provide long term (or short term) income.
Now, the "REAL" Tina:
I am a wife and mother, first and foremost. My family is my life, my pride and my true love. After having the experience of living in a 3rd world country for a few months, I am grateful everytime I turn on the faucet to have clear, safe, drinkable water and go to sleep in my clean, comfortable bed.
As a graduate of Virginia Tech, I am a Hokie. My college experience played an important role in molding me into the person I am today. Blacksburg and Virginia Tech will always be near and dear to me and I support my alma mater as a season ticket holder and member of the Hokie Club and Alumni Association.
Real estate is a business transaction and while my clients can sometimes get very emotional, my goal is to keep their business interests as my priority. I want my clients to make smart and wise financial real estate decisions that will assist them in achieving their financial goals. Whether or not their couch will fit in the living room is not my priority; whether or not the property they are investing in will help put their child through college is.
