As a native of Colorado Springs and now a Colorado Springs Realtor, it's important for me to stay on top of the trends and the latest information in the local real estate market. The Gazette newspaper has just released a study in cooperation with the Pikes Peak Association of Realtors (PPAR) which breaks down each neighborhood in Colorado Springs and compares them over the last 11 years (since 1996). There's a lot of great information here, from the overall appreciation of each neighborhood to the average price per square foot.
I grew up in the Woodside neighborhood in Briargate so this subdivision is of particular interest to me, plus I have a wide range of knowledge of the history of the area. With an average of 65.05% appreciation over the last 11 years and an average price per square foot of $145 in 2007, this Academy District 20 neighborhood is quickly becoming the "center of town" as Colorado Springs continues to sprawl to the East and North. Check out all the statistics about Woodside in Briargate and take a look at other neighborhoods in Colorado Springs.

As always, if you know someone who is thinking about moving I would love to talk with them. Whether they need a great agent in another State to help them find a home or if they're looking to buy or sell in Colorado Springs I can help them.
As a Colorado Springs real estate agent, I do my best to know the trends and stats about our local market. The Gazette (the daily newspaper here in Colorado Springs) has recently released a very comprehensive analysis of the local Colorado Springs market over the last 11 years. It focuses very specifically on the neighborhoods and subareas of Colorado Springs. Check out the full article and the specifics for Rockrimmon. Overall, Rockrimmon has seen 80.8% appreciation in the past 11 years (just above the average for El Paso County) and houses pull a price of around $170 per square foot.
Please contact me if you would like more information about the Rockrimmon area or other neighborhoods in Colorado Springs.
