It’s cold, exciting and the fans love their Florida Everblades Hockey team (The Everblades are a top the ECHL standings and have their sight set on the Kelly Cup. The Everblades are the minor leagues of Hockey that allows players to develop and be used by the Carolina Hurricanes (a professional team in the NHL.

The players are fun to watch because they are trying to make it to the big show, the NHL. The Everblades arena holds 7200 people so there isn’t a bad seat to watch the action. It started with the red carpet show that had performances from American Idol winner David Cook . The host was none other than Jimmy Kimmel the late-night talk show host/comedian. From there 19 performances, which is the most ever, took place like Beyonce, Jonas brothers, Pink, Miley Cyrus, Cold Play, PussyCat Dolls, Rihanna

, Taylor Swift, New Kids on The Block and Kanye west.

The award of Merit was presented by Justin Timberlake to Annie Lennox.

Chris Brown won 3 awards including Artist of the year.

What set this awards show apart from past shows was the amount of performances and lack of showing award winning. It was a diverse concert that had a little of something for every type of music lover.
