This is the Stimulas Package that we needed to help move the 100k and under and the 100k to 150k market in Real Estate. I have even heard some people in the Industry say that we might have a Tax Credit next year as well. The property tax cap here in Indiana that is coming up I think will start to help the Luxury Market as well. Look to see taxes cut in Half on some of your 500k and up homes when this tax goes through.
Just wanted to let you know whats going on in the area of Munster Indiana. A great Musical called Man of La Mancha playing at the Theater of the Center. Its about Don Quixote and the way he overcame the odds , I dont want to give too much away but it sure is something to see. Tickets are around $35 bucks, and will be playing from September 10th to October 12th from 8pm to 11pm.
Just a quick update for those looking for a home in NW Indiana. The property taxes on homes at the end of the year will be capped 1.5% of the sales price of the home and in 2010 , they will be even better at 1%. Alot of things have been put in place to help this economy along. The 8000 Dollar tax credit has really helped the 140k and under market in real estate. I think that the cap will really help the 200k and over market. Maybe we could nickname it the Cap of Clunkers,lol
Alot of my buyers are asking, where are the short sales. Having the opportunity for the Seller to negotiate with the lender to sell the home for under what they may possibly owe is a beautiful way to move a home into a buyers pocket. And in most cases the buyer is still in the home, they are able to take care of the place more than you would find a vacant forclosed property. So make your best offer ! As one agent told me, the banks are willing to wheel and deal ! lol

What can you say about Matt Forte,, except hes Matt Forte,lol.. Whos this Knox guy ? Has he been taking private lessons from hester!? Our Defense is poised to come back to 2006 standard, lets hope for the best,, and Go Chicago Bears !!!
