Merry Christmas to All my Colleagues

Here's wishing all of you a very Merry Christmas and a prosperous and busy New Year. I am optimistic that the market is going to get better in the upcoming weeks and months. With the low interest rates available I believe more people are going to step out and look for that home or property they have been holding back from buying. So, enjoy your family and friends during the Christmas holidays and be ready for some serious buying and selling in the New Year!

Hey all you hunters out there.....

Now is the time to acquire your own piece of heaven in wild, wonderful West Virginia so it will be there and waiting for hunting season next year.

All my friends and acquaintances know that I really enjoy the sport of hunting. I was able to go out a few times the past two weeks and finally got a 7 point buck near the end of the buck gun season. We have doe season this week and next week is muzzle loading season. I also bow hunt, but I believe muzzle loading is my favorite way to hunt. I keep my deer and have it processed at a local plant. Nothing is better than those tenderized deer steaks dipped in buttermilk and rolled in flour and simmered in that skillet.

Greenbrier County is alive with white tail deer, turkeys, and squirrels. I have several parcels on the market right now that would be ideal for hunting. The prices are right, the interest rates are good, so come up to our neck of the woods and see what awaits the hunter in you.

Busy Week at Coldwell Banker Stuart and Watts

The past week was a busy one for the agents at Coldwell Banker Stuart & Watts Real Estate. Even though the market has slowed down, we are busy promoting our company in the greater Greenbrier Valley. Our agents were involved in three Christmas parades--Alderson, Lewisburg, and White Sulphur Springs. We rode in the parades and gave candy to the children. We also greeted the shoppers at First Friday in Lewisburg. We gave out cider and cookies with our friends at The Old Hardware Gallery, the McHales. We are optimistic that the market is going to perk back up with the drop in interest rates and we want to make sure we are right there--ready and waiting.
