Real Estate Staging Charlotte North Carolina

Redesign +More, smart sellers and realtors realize the importance in staging a home. Statistics have shown a staged home sells faster in the real estate market. It's the investment that comes back at the closing table and the cost of staging is always less than the first price reduction. The National Association of Realtors reports that, on average, a staged home sells more than twice as quickly as a non-staged home (13.9 days vs. 31 days). In addition, staged homes sell for 6.9%-10% than their non-staged counterparts.

At Redesign + More in Charlotte, North Carolina, our goal is to offer you a visual inspection of your home and prepare it for the real estate market. We evaluate every aspect of the interior and exterior of the property that impacts marketability. You receive a detailed report of each room, which will emphasize the home's selling points as well as a list items for improvements. Redesign + More can help you de-clutter, organize, and showcase the home's focal points. When staging your home we will tour your home just like a potential buyer will, with an eye to details and features to be highlighted for showings. We determine the best way to highlight your home's features and give our recommendations for changes. Our recommendations may include furniture placement and accessory arrangement, editing, organizing and more. Redesign + More offers full day staging, half day staging and a "Do-it-Yourself" guide.

Redesign your room with fabrics.

When you stand in front of your sofa, what is the first thing you see? Is it the style or frame that draws your eye? Most always it is the fabric and the color that pulls you to a piece of furniture. Choosing a fabric can either make or break your room. Many decisions must be made before you are able to come to a conclusion on what type of fabric to use in your home. First, decide if you prefer a certain color, style or if you are blending in an inspirational piece that has been passed down to you as a family heirloom. What is the style of the room? What makes you feel good?

Fabric makes a statement on furniture, bedding and on windows. The fabric content on how the fabric will wear on your furniture or window treatments has always been ones thought but in fact it is the weave of the fabric that helps determine the wear. Man-made fabrics are popular choices and are very classic and elegant, but natural fabrics are much easier to maintain and are also more resilient. Certain blends may be selected to receive the best of both worlds.

Contrary to popular belief, you can use a combination of several fabrics in each room of your home. We use to believe you could only use a total of 3 fabrics in any given room but now the trend is to use as many as you desire, as long as there is an even flow in the room. Fabrics can make statements through patterns, prints, plaids, solids, stripes, colors and textures. You may decide to use trims to add accents on furniture, window treatments, bedding or pillows. After all, we say trim is considered the "jewelry" of fabric and completing the finish piece. In choosing the right fabrics for you home, the most important thing is to do what is comfortable to you. If you walk into your closet, it is often a good indicator that what you like to wear is also what you want your home to reflect. Are your clothes comfy, classic, trending, casual, elegant, sassy or simple?

The ultimate goal is that you should walk away happy with whatever decision you made about your fabric selection and make it your personal style.
