Motorcycle accident
Oooocccchhhhh!!!!!!! Darn loose gravel! Well, if you haven't heard. I had my first accident on 9/1/08.
I was really lucky not to break any bones. Believe it or not, all the training came back to me and I rode the bike to the ground. I did however, slice my left forearm open really bad. I had to spend 4 hours in the ER trying to get all the gravel out of it before they could stitch it up. I know why they say to wear leather.
For all of my well wishers, THANK YOU! It meant a lot to hear from all of you. Even though you all thought to give me a new nickname....Crash! According to Kevin....I'm a true biker now!
I am doing great and almost ready to get out there for my next ride. (Guess my sister won't be loaning me her bike too soon again. :-)
