The legislation would extend the $8,000 tax credit through June of next year as long as the buyer enters into a binding contract before April 30. It doubles the income ceiling for qualification to $125,000 for individuals. The credit is available for homes purchased at under $800,000
The new $6,500 credit is for existing homeowners, who are now eligible to receive a tax credit for buying a different home.
I found this site the other day. It will get you your credit score at no cost and you do not need to add a credit card for them to charge at a later date. It is a very informative site that shows more than just your score. Check it out!
The Site is called Credit Karma. The link is below, I just signed up an account and got my credit score.
This and other info can always be found on my website www.TonyBrust.com
Many people would like the best information about the area they are moving to, but agents are somewhat limited to the information we can legally give. here is a great site to use or share with clients so they can do the research on thier own!
I hope this helps agents, buyer, sellers and current homeowners everywhere.
As of today 22 Oct. 2009, while i am typing this blog, First-time home buyer's have 38 Days, 14 hours and a few minutes to find a home, make an offer, get inspections done and close to receive the government's First-Time Home Buyer Tax Credit. If you go to either of my websites, www.TonyBrust.com or www.WeSellPekin.com , you can see a countdown timer to that date.
Homes must be CLOSED before Dec. 1st, that means closed and filed with the county by Nov. 30th ( I personally think you should not wait to the 30th, maybe the 25th at the latest.) Time is short, but if you start today, you can make a good offer and get a closing date set with some lenders. I talked with 2 today who can close by the 25th of November.
To date, I have help 14 First-time buyers purchase a home.
As a buyer, My services are FREE to you, yes FREE, when you buy a home listed in the MLS. Many buyers, especially First-Time Buyers, are not aware of that fact and try to do this on their own. Buying a home has many steps, and you are best served by a professional who is trained to help you with this process.
Do not call the agent on the sign, call me for full representation. If you are not the this area, but still need help, call, text or email me and i will help you find an agent who will fully represent you. For more info email me at First-TimeBuyer@TonyBrust.com or call or text me @ 309-208-7748
Buying a home is no small matter. Besides being the largest financial transaction you may ever undertake, it's probably also the most complex. There are many good reasons to work with a qualified real estate professional-especially a trained professional who has earned the Accredited Buyer's Representative (ABR®) designation, representing best-in-class buyer services.
When you look for an ABR® before you look for a home, you'll be served, not sold. Your interests become my interests. And you'll be working with someone who has gone the extra mile by completing specialized training in delivering the best in buyer-representation services. I have help 14 First Time buyers this year to date and I am ready to help you too!
If you are looking for an agent who undersdtands the true meaning of integrity and honesty, i am your agent. Call or text me at 309-208-7748 or email me at FirstTimeBuyer@TonyBrust.com for more information on how I can help you in your journey.
Here is some important information to start you out.... My services cost you nothing as a buyer when you buy a home that is listed with me or ANY other agent. Sellers pay ALL REALTOR fees! Before you call the name on the sign, call me. I am here to service you.
