Terry is a native of Northern Nevada. She is married and has two daughters. The entire family holds college degrees. Sarah's holds a Bachelor of Science in Economics, Tayesa's degrees are in Behavioral Analysis, and a Masters in Public Administration, and John (her husband) has a Bachelor and Master Degrees in Health Sciences and Mental Health, and a Ph.D. in Health Education and Psychology. Dr. John also has his Nevada Real Estate license, and is a "fun" interview subject!

Current hobbies of hers include: spending time with her family, traveling, participating in volunteering with various youth programs and organizations, as well as working on her inventions.
