Forecasting is always a tricky business. From the stock market to fantasy football, the future is, by definition, uncertain. But that doesn't mean we can't throw some data into our logic blender and see what comes out, does it? Earlier this year, Money magazine posted their take on real estate in 2009. The subdivision is located off Barbour Ln. near Brownsboro Farm, just down Highway 22 from Springhurst and Norton Commons, east of Prospect. This is a great place to consider if you’re looking for high-end homes built within the past five years in a neighborhood located inside the Gene Snyder Expressway, so that you’re close to shopping, restaurants and transportation.
Fox Run is a newer neighborhood in the popular area near Old Henry Road. Close to both Woodmont and prestigeous Lake Forest, Fox Run offers homes in from $300-$400k. Rock Springs is a brand new RJ Thieneman neighborhood right off Highway 22 still inside Jefferson County. (It's streets aren't even mapped yet!) Homes start in the low $300s and feature styling not commonly found in traditionally minded Louisville. Rock Springs, near Prospect and Glen Oaks, is close to shopping in The Summitt and expressways. There are currently a good number of available lots if you want to build the custom home of your dreams in this great location.
Many of the homes in Rock Springs are decidedly "Craftsman" in styling, which is something that is hard to find, and utilize many different kinds of building materials.
