If this is what you're looking for, be sure to visit Locust Creek.
Homes in Locust Creek range in size from around 2,500 sq. ft. above grade finished to some of the largest homes topping out over 5,500 sq. ft.
The Polo Fields is an amazing golf course community located in Louisville's East End off Shelbyville Road near Locust Creek, just down the road from Lake Forest. A fairly large community, the Polo Fields continues to grow and add smaller developments within it's neighborhood. From garden homes, to modestly prices single-family homes, all the way up to larger homes in the $5k-$7k range, this subdivision has homes of all types.
And if you want to have a home that overlooks the golf course, like Glen Oaks, there are some amazing views in the Polo Fields.

Like Springhurst, Lake Forest is considered one of Louisvill'e premiere neighborhoods. The subdivision began in the early 1980s and hasn't stopped growing, with new developments like Lake Forest Highlands and other sections adding on to the original neighborhood. It's located off Shelbyville Road, just outside the Gene Snyder Freeway in Middletown and with new shopping opening recently directly across the street, Lake Forest continues to impress.

There's a great deal of development in and around Springhurst and Prospect here in Louisville. One neighborhood is Wolf Pen Springs, where new, custom homes are being built from the mid $500k. Right off Chamberlain Lane, directly across from Norton Commons, Wolf Pen Springs is close to everything in Louisville's far east end.

Large brick two-stories are the norm here in Wolf Pen Springs. There are a good number of lots still available if you would like to build your own custom home in this neighborhood.
Norton Commons is Louisville's very own 150-acre planned community, complete with both residential and commercial properties. There are plans to build an elementary school and there's even government buildings. It has it all! Located in the East End of Louisville within Prospect, across the street from Glen Oaks and near both Springhurst and Anchorage. For new home buyers, it's a must see!
Norton Commons is a very hot part of Louisville's real estate outlook.
