What Really Happens When He-men go Camping...

Camping in the Four Corners is one of those looked forward to weekends as often as possible. Farmington, NM is so close to camping areas in several directions that it makes it a great place to live if you are wanting to camp but not have to drive too far. Men of course love it. Crave it. Go as often as possible. I often wonder what they do when they go to the forest. Camping among the wild animals, taking chances with the elements, roughing it, leaving the city behind.

Hummm, Mystery solved.

TO SLEEP PER CHANCE TO DREAM

Princess Jennifer has left the ball and she is just "tuckered" out. Ahhh to be a little one again. Remember the days of make believe? I wanted to be a cowboy. I saved my allowance for EVER to buy a 2 gun holster set instead of the 1 gun I had. I was such a tom-boy. But it was the good life, ya just needed a "hoss" and a holster that strapped down--a 2 gun holster that is.----Anyone dream of being a Realtor?

KING OF THE BEAST AND MY LOVE OF CAROUSELS--

I love carousels and this one was so beautiful that I had to take a picture of each animal. I think the lion is one of my favorites. I think they take me back to when I was a little girl and wanted to own one--a carousel, not a lion. Although I guess I would have taken one if someone had tried to give it to me. I wanted a horse to keep in my room and feed it sugar, I could have kept a lion too.

THEY FLY BIG IN FARMINGTON, NM

Wow, was looking at some property on River Ranch Road yesterday and ran across this awesome rock that looks like a giant bird's skull. Lucky I had that camera! I love the rock formations around Farmington. We have some of the greatest. At certain times of year, there are rock crawls with jeeps and people love it. Isn't nature beautiful?

Wordless Wedsnesday--I'm from NM and you've got to be kidding, this means WHAT???

Had a wonderfully, chilling, and by that I mean had to buy a coat in August when we went to San Franciso last summer. It was an exciting visit but...When you leave your own area, you see wonderful things not common in yours. Never in your life will you see this sign in Farmington, NM. A dust storm or lighting strike but not a --how do you say--TSUNAMI!!
