A word about the infamous Betty Paige ...my hero scandalous or not!

Let me just say I am saddened to see that Betty Paige, a woman I have always admired for her tenacity & wild streak passed on last Thursday from a heart attack!... and more than that I can't believe I didn't hear about it until today!

Have I had my head in the sand? Or maybe in the snow:)?

For heavens sake she was 85 so I guess I shouldn't be too terribly shocked but geez...I just added her to my friends list on Myspace two weeks ago!(Who new she had a Myspace page...Huh!)

Well needless to say, her story is a great one...you can purchase the DVD The Notorius Betty Paige at http://www.thenotoriousbettiepage.com/. It's a great film!

And for those of you who may not be familiar with her work, she put pin ups & centerfolds on the map in the 50's! She took a lot of heat for being so scandalous at the time but was so comfortable with her body and nudity that the moralist really didn't have a chance! She went on to have a lot of hard times but she will have a peice of my heart FOREVER!!

REST IN PEACE MISS BETTY PAIGE!! MUAH!

A shout out for our friends Adam Craig & Telluride an up and coming high energy Country Music Band...

I wanted to give a shout out for our friends Adam Craig & Telluride an up and coming high energy Country Music Band...

Adam Craig is one of our own hometown boys, born & raised in Tenino, Wa and  graduating from Tenino High School in 2001. Adam aspired to pave his own way in the Country Music arena, so shortly after graduation he set off for Nashville to realize his dreams as a Lead Vocalist & Lead Guitarist...

In 2006, Adam along with four other aspiring musicians came together to form Telluride...opening for some big names in Country Music including  LeAnn Rimes, Big & Rich, Billy Ray Cyrus, and Lonestar. They also got to share the stage with Kid Rock as he jumped up to jam with them during a show...AND I MISSED IT!! Ugh!! The band has also opened for such classics from my generation as Foreigner and REO Speedwagon.

Even as Adam gets to rub elbows with the Big Boys he never forgets where he came from. In 2007 Adam returned home with Telluride to perform a benefit concert for the victims of the Thurston/Lewis County Flood and will also be returning to Tenino in July of 2009 to perform at the Tenino Food & Wine Festival.

Check out their CMT video "The Phone Song" below and let us know what you think!

You can also order the Telluride debut Album "Four Square Miles" or add it to your playlist. Become a fan!

Thank you for taking the time to listen to our boys! Enjoy!!
