Hey Guys,

I need you to shed some light on this thought of mine. I was thinking about being aggressive with the portion of my commission given for referrals coming from other agents. I Know the traditional referral portion is 25%,I was thinking of upping it to 39% so that I would prehaps receive a referral from an agent in another state sending their client to me to work with so that they will be able to be compensated generiously.

I'm involved with the Buffini Club Net and like to network with agents in other States. I've been in the Buffini Coaching program for four years. I've been dishing out $500 a month, great benefits, but I'm a little miffed havn't received a referral from their membership. I have sent referrals out but have not received any.

I have attended several events ( retreats, conferences, seminars) outside my market, of Birmingham, Alabama to not only to benefit from education, but to network with other agents so that I would make relationships so that I would be in a position to receive referrals.

Hey Guys, are any of you going to attend the Buffini Turning Point Retreat in Atlanta Oct.20-21, held at the Cobb Co. Convention Center?

My Real Estate career started at this venue four years ago. Just weeks after I had passed my State Licensed test one of the Brokers I interviewed gave me a book written by Brian Buffini, " Oh, By the Way". It was about Brian's story building his business by referrals. I signed up and went to my first Turning Point Retreat to see for myself what this was all about. After the event I decided to jump into their coaching program.

I feel like I have come full circle. This will be my 10th Turning Point in four years. The last one I was at was in Feb. held in Seattle.

I often like to get away from my environment and work on myself and my business.

I would like to read from any of you who has been and will be attending.
