To encourage agents to complete my requests for feedback after showing a listing of mine I offer a $20 gift certificate to the agent that submits the closest guess on the sales price of the listing. Not only does this ensure valuable feedback for my clients, it is also a great way to maintain good relations with other agents.
Congratulations to Theresa Sallach with CBS Home and Ellie Bane with Prudential Ambassador who each won a $20 gift certificate to Applebee's for submitting the closest guesses on the sale prices of listings of mine that sold in August of 2009.
This is my way of thanking agents for taking a minute to provide valuable feedback and at the same time provide my clients with outstanding service.
In August I posted a number of real estate articles on Omaha and the new listings the Trumm Team has on the market. Here they are in case you missed them:
Ground Breaking for New Stadium in Sarpy County
Movies and Live Bands at Stinson Park at Aksarben Village in Omaha NE
And now for the new homes we put on the market in August.
8722 S 100 St in the Val Verde subdivision of La Vista
3401 Henery Rd in the Lookingglass Heights subdivision
17714 J St in the Wood Creek subdivision of Omaha
Matthew assisted with the sale of a property I was representing in Maenner-Hillside at 1710 Maenner Dr. by bringing the buyer.
Selling a home takes not just comprehensive marketing and outstanding service but also a capable agent on the other side of the transaction. Matthew did an excellent job. He was a pleasure to work with and I look forward to doing business with him again.
Matthew was a pleasure to work with.
Christin assisted with the sale of a property I was representing in Beaver Lake at 1504 Cree Ct by bringing the buyer.
Working with a good agent makes my job much easier. It is time consuming selling over 50 homes a year, but having a good agent on the other side of a sale makes closing a deal much easier.
Christin made this an easy sale and I hope we can do business again.

Home sales are continuing to improve for the fourth consecutive month. New homes sales were at 9.6 % for July. The $8,000 incentive for first home buyers appears to have contributed to the gain as the sale of homes under $100,000 was up 39%. And, as more homes were sold, home prices also rose slightly. This is a positive sign for the economy.
In Omaha NE the market never got as bad as in many places in the country and the $8,000 tax credit has helped to keep sales going. We will see what happens in December when the tax credit expires.
