The Lunar and Planetary Institute's Family Space Day at the Johnson Space Center is February 20, 7-10pm. A total lunar eclipse will be viewed in February. The event is free, and family oriented. East to Hwy 3 will be the collection site for all recyclable material some of which is not accepted from your homes curbside pick-up Waste Collection Truck. The facility is open 7 days a week from 8:00am to 8:00pm. The items accepted are newspapers, magazines, telephone books, catalogs, ad inserts, cardboard, glass bottles and jars, aluminum cans, tin cans, aerosol cans, steel cans and #1 and #2 plastic bottles. No hazardous waste materials allowed here.
