Uptown MN Realtor in Love

I am absolutely in love with Uptown MN. I've been a native to MN my entire life and it wasn't until I was 21 that I discovered this little peace of heaven in MN. I love the simple blend of urban meets nature. I fell in love with the area so much that at the tender age of 23, my boyfriend and I bought a condo right in the heart of town. Now I get to enjoy my two loves, Uptown Living and working in Real Estate…ok three loves, my boyfriend. If you’re ever in the Twin Cites, then I suggest you visit Uptown, Minneapolis…I promise you, no matter the weather conditions outside, you will fall in love with this city.

Creating a Pet Friendly Home

If you’re a pet owner, then you’ll need to visit HGTV.com to get the latest home decorating tips and tricks for pet owners. Skipping on wall-to-wall carpet, expensive rugs and breakable items are all common things pet owners do.

But what about decorating your home using colors that match your pet, not only will you be able to mask the hair on the couch, but your pet will look stylish. And while you’re redecorating, make sure to use stain-resistant fabrics and washable paint. Accidents do happen.

Most of all, make your home feel like home for your pet. Make sure there is an area that they feel is theirs. When they have a place to call there own and relax, they will be much happier and so will you!

Supply and Demand

Have you ever gone into a department store and just become overwhelmed at the selection. You want to buy… it’s just going to take you longer. After hours of searching, you finally find the perfect cut, color and size and then you see that there 10 more of the same one. After glancing at the price you decide to wait tell it goes on sale reassuring yourself that there are 10 left.

This is the same reaction today’s home buyers are struggling with. There is and have been a rising number of properties that fit their needs and they too are hesitant to commit because a better opportunity or another “price reduction” just might be around the corner.

This is why in today’s market it is so important to work with a real estate agent who knows the local markets supply and demand and who will specialize in "servicing" the client’s needs. They should inform their buyers on the correct timing to react appropriately when considering making an offer. And perhaps most importantly, they need to develop an understanding of value vs. unrealistic wants and wishful thinking.
