Perrigo Recreational Park in Redmond, WA

Perrigo Park view from Union HillPerrigo Park is a recreational park in Redmond Washington located right behind Cadman Gravel. This is a beautifully landscaped and recreational area sitting on 26.7 acres. Perrigo Park has many kid friendly areas including a sand volleyball court which gives you the feel of being next to the water. Fortunately that is about all that is missing from this park (water front). The Volleyball courts sit right next to the covered picnic area which allow you to through parties as well as picnic year round.

I actually had my 2nd son's first birthday at Perrigo park and it turned out great. We had about 20 people there taking up about a 4th of the covered picnic area. At the same time there was a Chinese group there dancing and stretching with music and was very entertaining. During the winter months there is no reason to reserve the area. There is no cost at that time of the year but also no guarantee of getting it either. The summer months you should reserve in advance and you can do so here. This is a very nice park and many of the residents of Redmond like to use Perrigo Park as there day time release for their kids.

Perrigo Recreational park has more than just picnic and volleyball. Perrigo park has a kids play area and other recreational areas throughout the park. Starting with Perrigo parks synthetic turf used for both Soccer and Softball. In addition to the turf there is three Tennis courts and two full basketball courts. I have been looking forward on planning a get together with my friends for a game of b-ball in the summer. Perrigo park is the perfect place to meet and greet, but most of all getting some exercise while participating in one of their many activities available at this park.

Last but not least the facilities including the bathrooms and recreational areas are top notch. Not to mention the walking and riding trails that lead to and from Perrigo park. If you are ever in the area and want to stretch your legs or just see a beautiful park then Perrigo park is the park for you. You can get there by following the signs from both Avendale Road or Union Hill road just off the end of 520 HWY in Redmond Washington.

Swan Lake in Redmond Washington

SWAN LAKE ON UNION HILL REDMOND

There is a gorgeous community by the name of Swan Lake that sits off the top of Union Hill in Redmond Washington. The community was originally constructed in the late 80's and early 90's. The character built with each home truly gives Swan Lake a presence to remember. The community consists of Traditional style as well as Victorian Classics and a few Contemporary mixed in.

What Tyson and I found to be so inspiring was the natural growth of such amazing landscape and the real sense of community.

We have friends who live in Swan Lake and are so proud to be apart of this unique community. Everyone is on the same page on how they want their homes and streets to appear. Which if you ever drive through you will see that it has immaculate beauty and has a prestine class that makes this community unforgettable.

Years ago when I first discovered Swan Lake, I was so pleasantly surprised to see such great Real Estate around my neck of the woods. It has always stuck in my mind to be one of the most classic and proud communities in Redmond.

The average size lot is just under an acre with much privacy and thought out plan for each home site. The average home size is about 5500 sq. ft. with 4+ bedrooms. The homes in this community sell in the range of $900k up to about $2million. The quiet streets and peace you feel when you enter Swan Lake has really helped the sale of the homes. The average day on market for the last 2 years has been about 60 days. With there being fewer buyers in this price range, that is actually phenomenal time.
