These days home sellers are often looking at the current real estate market coditions in the Vancouver Area with a negative viewpoint. But it's not all bad news. In fact, there is a lot of success out there. You just have to have the right strategy.
In the last few months we have worked with a number of great realtors in the Vancouver Lower Mainland to demonstrate that properties will sell if they are priced right AND look fantastic. In the past couple of years, you could get away with having one or the other going for you. Now you really need both.
This week we are celebrating the sale of a condo in downtown Vancouver that we staged for Tom Everitt of Thinktom.com Realty. We were thrilled to be included in a series of Video Blogs that Tom did for this property to highlight the home staging.
The end result was that the property sold in 2 and a half weeks for 98.24% of the asking price once the cost of the staging had been accounted for! This just goes to show that if you have a sharp realtor that is dialed into the local market and a stager that can make the property look great, you can only win!
