If you currently have a Vessel to Dock or if you're planning to purchase one in the future, a very important consideration with Intracoastal Front Homes is to determine if they are located in a Wake Zone or not. If you own a small Boat or other watercraft, Dockage with a Lift could be possible in an Intracoastal Wake Zone. If the Home is located in a Wake Zone that's not suitable for docking a larger Vessel, Dockage could be possible if the Home is located on a Point Lot that includes a protected side Canal. Of course, some Intracoastal Homes are located such that Dockage is not possible at all, in which cases, the only remaining choices for Vessel Owners are Dockage in a Marina (many of which are available locally) or Dockage at another Single Family Home where the Owners permit Dockage to be Leased.

Broward County is located between Palm Beach County and Dade County (the Miami area). The majority of Southeast Florida includes the Tri-County area of Broward, Palm Beach, and Dade County.

I am currently working with a Yacht Owner from the U.K. who is selling his Yacht and planning to purchase a Ft. Lauderdale Waterfront Home or Palm Beach Waterfront Home. His Yacht is located in Mallorca, Spain and is listed for Sale through his London-based Yacht Broker, however, he is also interested in the possibility of trading his Yacht for an appropriate Ft. Last Friday, I once again had the pleasure of dining at Charley's Crab, a Ft. Lauderdale Waterfront Restaurant located on the Intracoastal Waterway. My Friend, Tiffany, accompanied me and we chose outdoor seating so that could we could enjoy the fabulous weather and Waterfront views.
Charley's Crab offers a Raw Bar and a great selection of Fresh Fish, Shrimp, Prime Rib, Steak, Chicken, Crab, and Lobster for Dinner and Lunch, in addition to Sandwiches and Salads.
For Lunch, I ordered Calamari as an Appetizer and Coconut Crunchy Shrimp with Ginger Rice and Sweet Plum Sauce as my Entrée, which were both delicious.

Charley's Crab can accommodate parties of up to 450 Indoors and 350 on the Outdoor Patio. If you would like to arrive by Boat instead of Car, complimentary Docking assistance is available. I noticed several Diners who arrived by Boat to enjoy an afternoon Lunch on the Patio.
Charley's Crab is popular with both Locals and Visitors alike. During Lunch, our Waiter, Keith, who provided excellent service, told us that Zach Thomas of the Kansas City Chiefs was Dining inside and autographed a Menu for him and took a picture with him.
If you're interested in Ft. Lauderdale Waterfront Restaurants, Charley's Crab would certainly be a great choice. Charley's Crab is located at 3000 NE 32nd Avenue close to Oakland Park Blvd. and A1A. Their phone number is (954) 561-4800.
While there, I shot pictures of the Intracoastal Waterway and Homes across from Charley's Crab.
