Military Relocation and Retirement Mesquite, Nv is approximately 80 miles from Nellis Air Force Base. Yet a drive to work on the base takes about the same time from Mesquite as it would from many of the areas in busy Las Vegas. I-15 is a straight shot from Mesquite to northeast Vegas.
