The RESA Southeastern Michigan Chapter (RESA-SEM) is proud to announce that it is sponsoring a charity Home Staging event to be held April 24th and April 26th. This event will give Realtors and Michigan residents a chance to see how Home Staging can transform a home. The RESA members will be staging a vacant house in Clawson, Michigan. Realtors will be able to tour the house on Friday, April 24th. The house will be open for public viewing Sunday, April 26th. Participating Home Stagers will be on hand to answer questions, give advice and offer complimentary Home Staging Consultations to the winners of the raffle. There will also be classic Detroit cars on display. All donations as well as proceeds from a lemonade stand will be donated to Habitat for Humanity of Oakland County.

Michigan stagers and RESA aren't just staging homes; they are staging the community they live in too. Several RESA-SEM members are also participating in the Habitat Women Build May 12th-16th.

Two grandparents, one 12 year old grandson with a Camera at the Detoit Z00

Spring has sprung for at least a few days in Michigan and our gradson had a few days off of school. He loves being outside and loves the zoo. This was such a perfect day for a visit.

Thining he might get a little bored, silly me, I gave him the camera to document our day.

Below and the vidoes he took. We also created a video from all the photos. We had fun ----he had fun---- and he learned how to post to youtube and create movies. Couldn't have been a better day.

This bear was really annoyed with the workmen. The polar bear exhibit is one of the best in the country. We walk thru a tube and the bears swim all around us.

We took a couple hundred photos and they are the ones we thought the best. The seals are in the same exhibit with the Polar Bears

The snow fox kept us busy for at lest 20 minutes. They were so frisky.

The house is free........should I call the listing agent about staging it?

I'm always poking around the MLS looking for homes that need staging. Frequentl,y I call on agents and offer my services.

This home I saw while running my errands and had to stop for a good luck and of course of few photos. I'm sorry that I didn't have my regular camera with me.

Do I call on him and offer my services?

This is one of the best marketing ideas that I've seen in a long time.

Troy Free HouseWho couldn't resist stopping to see this house?

A little closer to the free house

Now that we are a little closer we can see the $90,000 for the price of the lot and the house is free.

GREAT MARKETING

I would love to stage and prep this house. It has charm written all over it.

Brad, maybe you won't want my services on this house but maybe on one of the other listings that you have.

Wow!! What a great marketing idea --- Name your own price

WOW!! What a great marketing idea! Name your own price March 23 - 27that the Whistle Stop restaurant on Eaton Street in Birmingham!! Matt Rafferty, who's back ground is radio, is inviting diners to pick the price they want to pay for their dinners, from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. during these promotion days.

This landmark restaurant serves delicious food and incredible desserts.

fresh baked pastries

The question is why would they be making this offer of name your own price for dinner?

Will they be making money or loosing money during this week of their promotion?

What would happen if we offered this pricing for our clients?

Would they pay us what we feel we are worth? Or would they pay us more?

It's a very interesting concept.

Are you this confident in your service, quality of product and customer satisfaction.

I could cry for these sellers

I could cry for these sellers. They don't seem to know the value of preparing their home for sale and good photos. 80%to 90% of buyers look on the Internet first to choose which homes they want to see in person.

Who wants to jump in and see these homes? They are currently on the market.

This room is currently market as the 3rd bed room. Without a bed in the room it looks like a place to store furniture.

3rd bedroom

I'm not sure what this room is

This room has me completely confused. Is it a dining room or an office or

That's an office chair. The light isn't centered and it look like maybe the washer and dryer are on the right.

This room just plain scares me. Looks like maybe the fireplace leaked smoke.

This is a very popular floor plan. Too bad it can't be seen.

Well it's good to know the house has a sink

blue sink

These are photos that I found on our MLS. Sellers, call professions for your home preparation and photos.

I really don't want to cry for you any more. I want to help
