Hello everyone,
I wanted to share a few photos of good old Arkansas. The first one was taken in Madison Country from a cliff called "The Eagle's Nest". The next one is of Dickson Street, taken from the Legacy building. Hope everyone enjoys. If you'd like to view a high-res version, I've provided the links below.

Close The Blinds
Ever wondered why your photos have “blown-out” areas of sunlight where a window should be? This occurs because your camera is set to expose the interior light for that specific shot, not the exterior light. Because the exterior window light is much brighter than the interior light, you end up with a large white spot where the window should be.
This is a problem easily solved – Close the Blinds.
Example: Open Blinds Vs Closed Blinds
Level The Camera
Although this is an extremely basic tip, it makes the difference between really bad photography and great real estate photography. Understandably, real estate agents are extremely busy, but this tip only requires a few minutes of extra time and a little attention to detail. In return, leveling your camera will bring your photographs a more professional look.
Turn On The Lights
By turning on every light in the house, including lamps, your photographs will have a warm and rich look that can’t be achieved in the dark. Remember, a bright house is a happy house.
Avoid Mirrors
As much as we all love to see ourselves – A potential homebuyer might not be as obliged to enjoy your reflection staring back at them from the mirror you just photographed. I know smaller bathrooms can be hard to photograph without capturing your own reflection, but this can usually be solved with a little ingenuity and time. You can usually avoid this mistake by positioning yourself to the far left or right of the bathroom door – shooting into the bathroom.
No Pets
Remember that not everyone in this world is a pet lover. By avoiding pets in your photography, you can live peacefully knowing that a potential buyer wasn’t turned off to a property because the current owner has cats, dogs, birds, lions, tigers, or bears. You can avoid these four-legged friends of ours by simply coaxing them out of the picture. Despite the fact that some buyers could care less whether or not a house has pets, it just makes better photography to avoid them.
I hope you all enjoyed these 5 Photography Tips! If you have any questions on how to make your real estate photographs look better, feel free to contact me anytime.
