This is only an OBSERVATION not a RANT.

I like to read several blogs every day, the first ones I look at are obviously the Featured Blogs. As I was browsing the head lines I came across one that stood out as odd. It was a blog that was for the local readers but it was a Featured Blog. At that point I started thinking back about every time I read a blog that wasn't Featured and how many of those times on the same day some of the Featured ones didn't seem to have as much substance. I also started to observe how many of the Featured Blogs are from repeat authors.

So I guess what I'm wondering is there a monopoly on Featured Blogs the same way a few REO agents have a monopoly on REO Listings.

Engineers Without Borders is putting on a benefit to raise funds for the El Salvador Portable Water Project. Engineers Without Borders is a great organization that dedicates themselves on bringing clean water to villages all around the world. This can only be done with our help, so come out Thursday Oct. 22 and support the Engineers Without Borders San Diego Chapter.

Most of us never think about the water we drink or use for cooking. We grab a bottle of water from the refrigerator or turn on our filtered faucet. But for many people around the world getting water (and not always clean water) can start with a several mile walk. La Charipa had a clean water supply until a earthquake in 2002 knocked it out, so come out and support Engineers Without Borders as they raise money to rebuild the water supply.

San Diego Little Italy Street Fair10 to 6 today. I wanted to let everyone know that the 15th annual Little Italy Festa is today. Little Italy Festa is one of the largest single-day Italian American festivals West of the Mississippi. There will be over 100,000 attendees, come down and enjoy some great food and entertainment. Along with music, food, vendors they will be having their annual chalk painting event.

California State Bar Takes Action Against Loan Modification Attorneys. I must say I am happy to hear this. It's time we fix this problem. If an attorney is going to allow loan mod companies to use his name then he should oversee the process. I have called a couple of these so called law firms that do loan mods and I have never been able to communicate with the so called in house Attorney. If your going to profit from allowing loan mod companies to use your name then you should be held accountable when people start losing their houses while thinking its being taking care of.
