What is the Texas Appliance Rebate Program About?
You may have heard that as of December 20, 2010 Texans can purchase appliances and participate in the new Texas Appliance Mail-In Rebate Program. You can receive a rebate not only for the purchase and installation of qualifying appliances, but there is also a bonus if you follow the program details for recycling your old appliance, too.
Why is the state of Texas doing this? Well, to promote awareness of ENERGY STAR® appliances and also to decrease energy consumption by encouraging appliance replacement.
What kinds of appliances qualify? Air-Source Heat Pumps, Central Air Conditioners, Clothes Washers, Dishwashers, Freezers, Refrigerators, Room Air Conditioners, Water Heaters
How do you get the details about this program?

Note: This program is on a “first come, first served” basis
until the funds run out.
We can all do something to help out the environment. If you are going to purchase a new appliance, why not take advantage of this program and do something good for Texas at the same time?
