DAVID WAITE BIOGRAPHY

Reflection on our own life's journey tells us much about our personal values and guide us in understanding how those values led us to our present lives. It is a journey David Waite knows has been a positive one for he and his family.

David Waite was born and raised in Southern Wisconsin. After graduation, he decided to move from Wisconsin to Corpus Christi, Texas. It was there that he met and married his wife, Mary. There in Texas, David began working in the the oil industry and at the same time began to purchase rental properties. It was then that his interest in real estate began to take hold. As with most young families, David and Mary knew they wanted a better quality of life as they thought about where to settle down and begin their family. How very fortunate they felt as the Waite's decided to make their home and raise their family in the beautiful countryside of Hillsboro, Oregon.

When the Waite family moved to Oregon David began his real estate career with John L. Scott and was subsequently named "Rookie of the Year." This was an exciting milestone for all of the Waite family and strengthened David's philosophy of never looking back.

David and Mary know that their move to Hillsboro helped them truly achieve the better quality of life they so wanted for their family. David's daughters are grown, but as they were growing up their lives were fi lled with many community and family activities including swim teams, 4-H and other athletic competitions.

The life David and Mary have chosen and worked for has also allowed David to pursue the hobbies so close to his heart. These hobbies include growing hybrid roses, orchids and a small orchard with various fruit trees, nut trees, grapes and berries. He is especially proud of rescuing animals which have also led him to raising many animals himself, including dogs, cats and even parrots! As important as it is to pursue personal hobbies, David loves more than anything spending time with his family, playing golf and traveling. As a native of Wisconsin, David is of course an exuberant Green Bay Packers fan, an avid Trail Blazer follower, loves following the golf tour and any football game!

As David knows, it is always important to refl ect on our life's journey, continue to enjoy family and friends and always remember that the stops on our life's journey is what makes the search marvelous, meaningful and memorable.
