Versus last year, the total number of homes available this month is lower by 67 units or 27%. The total number of active inventory this December was 178 compared to 245 in December 2010. This month's total of 178 is lower than the

There was an increase in total units sold in December, with 97 sold this month in Midlothian versus 92 last month, an increase of 5%. This month's total units sold was higher than at this time last year, an increase of 15% versus December 2010.

Versus last year, the total number of homes available this month is lower by 224 units or 30%. The total number of active inventory this December was 520 compared to 744 in December 2010. This month's total of 520 is lower than the
previous month's total supply of available inventory of 596, a decrease of 13%.

Median Sale Price
Last December, the median sale price for Midlothian Homes was $242,000. This December, the median sale price was $225,000, a decrease of 7% or $17,000 compared to last year. The current median sold price is 6% higher than in November.
