Dallas, Houston, and Austin among top Texas cities that are holding steady in economic recession and see promise for thriving while other cities continue their downward spiral. Sci-Tech Discovery Center announced today that it will now be calling Frisco, Texas home. With plans to open their doors in October of 2009 in the Museum District of Frisco Square, Sci-Tech is sure to be welcomed with open arms by the family friendly community. The Museum District in Frisco Square already plays host to the Frisco Heritage Museum and will soon see the American Railroad Museum calling it home as well. Three great museums just south and east of the main area of Frisco Square and no doubt more will soon follow suit. Just one more reason why Frisco is my favorite city on the rise in North Texas.
Frisco, Texas comes in at #7 on Forbes magazine's 'America's 25 Best Places To Move' when it comes to relocating.

Frisco, Texas is quickly becoming a sports lover's paradise. Frisco is already home to professional soccer, baseball, and hockey. Frisco can now add NBA to it's list of sports teams that call it home. NBA Development League team is moving to Frisco's Dr. Pepper arena where play is expected to begin in the 2010-2011 season.
