Can you believe this is really happening in Raleigh North Carolina. Our city council has make a law to ban all new garbage disposals and existing ones cannot be fixed or replaced or you could face a fine of up to $25,000. The wisdom behind this is to help with the water shortage and keep the sewer system clean. But of courses the City Council has no study or evidence to support this claim. What next? Well the real estate industry and homebuilder are trying to the council on passing higher impact fees and a possible end to tear-downs in certain area.

Lets see if we will remain one if not the only City to ban GARBAGE DISPOSALS.

In the last 2 days Raleigh has seen its water supply go up 2 feet. We now have at least 165 day left in supply. This will bring much relief to all the citizens. Maybe we can now start to get our listing looking good for the spring market. Showing are up again for my office. And hits on our web-site has had twice as many as usual. If you know of anyone who needs area information. Call the agent with native knowledge. And if you are ever in Raleigh, remember to give me a ring. Everyone have a great weekend and remember to keep the family of the slain UNC student in your prayers.

The market is still very strong here. We have seen a little slow down in the condo market, but detached homes are still strong. my be its the weather we have or the fact the beach is only 2 hours away and the mountain 2.5 hours away. If you have any questions concerning the area let me know
