Are you using Social Media networking? Is it taking up a lot of your time, or have you found a way to automate the process like i have?
Using Twitter, Facebook and YouTube as well as Sendible and Tweetdeck, i have found that business is increasing and the time spent creating posts is decreasing which makes John a happy puppy (and a more productive business owner)
Here is a link to the presentation i gave recently http://www.willisetech.com/index.php?page=social-media that you will find on http://www.willisetech.com
Others have found this very useful, especially people who are new to, or reluctant to use Social Media tools like:
Wordpress Self Hosted Blog (This is a wordpress blog that you have associated with your website).
How to add your self hosted blog to your You Tube account.
You will be given a list of blog services that you can attach to your You Tube account. Select "Wordpress Self Hosted"
Enter your Wordpress blog user name and password
You will need to get an API key so go to Wordpress.com and create an account there. You don't need to have a blog account to get your API key. I'm not sure why this is set up this way but it is.

Here is a great tool that can automatically update your Facebook blog. It's called Simplaris Blogcast.
Simplaris Blogcast allows you to quickly and easily integrate an existing blog into facebook. If you have a blog, Simplaris Blogcast makes it simple to increase your visibility and share your content with all your friends on facebook.
I found Simplaris easy to set up (It only took minutes of my time) and am waiting to see what benefits come from this.
Let me know how it works out for you.
Cheers,
John
In my last post, i mentioned my shock and embarrassment at being told NO when i asked for a Cappaccino lid for my medium Tim Horton's coffe. Well, after writing to Tim Horton's head office i received this reply. So, if you are considering asking to use the new Tim Horton's coffee lids, feel free to feel like an "always right customer".
Thank you Tim Horton's for doing the right thing by your customers. I intend to carry this letter with me so that if i'm ever told NO when i ask to use the Cappaccino lids for my Tim Horton's coffee experience, i will show this to the proprietor.
Dear John,
I would like to thank you for taking the time to contact us at our Head Office regarding your unfortunate experience at our 3476 Carrington Rd location.
The type of service you received in no way reflects the service we wish for our customers to receive from our stores. Our company does live by the motto "The Customer is Always Right", and clearly this store has fallen short of that mark. I have forwarded a copy of your letter to the District Manager. Jeff will contact the Store Owner and I assure you they will work together to ensure that your concerns are addressed.
Please note, that there should not be a problem regarding which lid you receive for your beverage. Employees will automatically give you the regular lid for a coffee, but should be able to substitute no problem. If you find that you are ever having this problem again, please do not hesitate to contact us toll-free at 1(888)601-1616.
At Tim Hortons we strive to achieve customer satisfaction through friendly and efficient customer service, a high level of product quality and cleanliness in our stores. For this reason, we appreciate the time you have taken to let us know of your experiences.
We look forward to serving you better in the near future!
Yours Truly,
Operations Services Representative
