Alpharetta Georgia is a great community about 20 miles north of Atlanta- buyers here love their brick homes with basements! Just talk to buyers in the Alpharetta market and they will almost always start their wish list with brick construction and a full basement- profreably finished. In taking a look at the sales stats from the past 11 months I found it encouraging to see that in the price range of 0 to 400,000 there were 180 brick homes sold with an average price of 287,000. Only 34 of those sales were lender controlled suggesting a relatively strong market in Alpharetta with homes selling and retaining great value despite the strained market conditions all over the country. In looking at active listings in Alpharetta that are brick with basements there are 74 at present with only 14 being lender controlled so buyers should be able to enjoy a great selection of very nice Alpharetta homes ranging up to 400,000. I hope that this summary of this sector of the Alpharetta market is useful to prospective buyers looking for a great community to call home and invest in.
