Savarino Construction Co. and Southeast Works have announced plans for a $6.5 million project to convert the former Our Lady of Czestochowa School on Clinton Street in Cheektowaga into apartments for people with developmental disabilities.

There will be 24 units and construction should be completed late 2009 early 2010. This is exciting to see as we see the Catholic Church trying to make use of many of the buildings that they no longer need in Western New York. It is a great adaptation and a positive move forward for the Cheektowaga neighborhood. This will create an anchor and ensure that the community will continue to grow.

• In 2007 there were a total of 57 Single Family Homes sold, their average list price was $188,060 and they sold in an average of 63 for an average sold price of $180,195.
• There are currently 35 active Listings ranging in list price from $86,000 t $419,900 with an average list price of $243,779.
• There currently are no pending listings and 4 closed sales in the last 30 days in Pendelton NY. The Average list price of those Pendelton homes that have sold is $222,400 and they sold for an average price of$216,532 with an average of 104 days on the market.
• The lowest sold unit in the past 30 days sold for $67,000 with no days on the market, while the highest sold home in the past 30 days sold for $370,000 with a total of 259 days on the market.
