Three women, who had traveled across the United States visiting small town festivals, enjoying good wholesome food and entertainment with family and friends, decided they wanted to bring that atmosphere of unity within a community to their own hometown of Bonifay, Florida.
These women envisioned their hometown enjoying a day of play as one big family. They would endeavor to join families, co-workers, businesses, churches and community leaders together for one day each year to celebrate “community”. This enterprise would create a tremendous sense of community pride and demonstrate to others just what Bonifay has to offer.
The festival would prove to those already living in Bonifay just how blessed they are to live in the community and how proud they are to share that sense of pride with others.
By offering hometown folks the opportunity to display their community in a positive venue the women knew that guest would be drawn to the area bringing with them business possibilities to local businesses and organizations.
Three local women had a vision; and the Bonifay Street Festival was born.

The following real estate graph and tables demonstrate housing supply and demand dynamics in the Tallahassee real estate market as of February 4, 2012. Each area of Tallahassee (Leon County, Florida) is summarized with homes for sale, homes that have sold over the past 12 months, and finally the relative supply of homes for sale (measured in “months of supply”).
Currently, there are over 10 months of supply of homes on the market in Tallahassee, but the relative supply grew last month, something that normally occurs this time of year when sellers re-emerge from the holiday season and enter/re-enter the market. High levels of relative home supply will continue to put pressure on home prices until we see market inventories stabilize at the 6 months of supply level.
